Specializing in a planning-based approach to your money, he works with clients to design investment portfolios to meet their individual needs. Additionally, Joshua works on a team of Dave Ramsey’s SmartVestor Pros, because like Dave, his focus is on helping clients live their lives debt-free and financially independent.

Before joining Whitaker-Myers Wealth Managers, Joshua was an Independent Financial Advisor and Wealth Coach using his 17 plus years in the financial industry to help people find, fulfill, and finance their life’s purpose and dreams. As a Financial Coach, Joshua helped clients achieve their goals with money including being able to save more, spend smarter, pay off debt, and feel more comfortable and confident with money management and investing for multiplication. He shared this information through group and one-on-one coaching, and seminars. Joshua started his financial career in the mortgage industry but soon thereafter joined JP Morgan Chase for 10 years where he enjoyed a successful career advancing from a personal banker, to a small business specialist banker, to a private client banker, and finally becoming a fully licensed Financial advisor. Joshua has also been certified through the International Coach Federation as a Lifeforming Leadership Coach.

Joshua lives in Paola, Kansas with his wife, Jacklyn, son Rocco, and daughters, Giovanna and Giuliana. Together they operate a small family farm primarily raising sheep, but also have 2 cows, chickens, ducks, and routinely many other farm animals at times!
