Summit has a passion for finances and a desire to assist the Advisors at Whitaker-Myers Wealth Managers in ensuring we offer a wide range of investment services and alternatives. As the Investment Research Analyst, he puts our clients' needs first.

Summit has spent the majority of his career in healthcare, finding innovative methods to improve operational inefficiency while integrating technology across the care continuum. His passion for innovation has led him to explore multiple healthcare domains, including clinical operations, analytics, finance, product management, and technology.

Before joining Whitaker-Myers Wealth Managers as an Investment Research Analyst, Summit was the Director of Health Systems and National Accounts at TeleTracking Technologies. At Teletracking, he leaned on his hospital operations experience and passion for technology to develop and launch an analytics platform to provide hospital system-wide situational awareness, transparency, and real-time notification.

During the pandemic, this same platform was utilized by HHS (Health and Human Services) to report COVID-19 data from all 6,000+ hospitals across the nation. His desire to reform healthcare led him to work at Medically Home, a startup developing and launching the hospital-at-home initiative across the nation. Summit led a team with the Mayo Clinic as they operationalized a centralized command center to provide virtual and in-home hospital care for patients located across 4 time zones and multiple states.

Summit most recently graduated from Harvard Medical School with a Masters in Clinical Service Operations in 2020. He completed his M.B.A., focused on Healthcare Administration, at Davenport University and completed his M.D. at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is a Chicago native and graduated from Roosevelt University with his Bachelors in Science. As a lifelong learner and a member of our Whitaker-Myers Wealth Managers team, Summit is completing his CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst) designation from Yale University School of Management and will pursue his CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst) to follow.
